I live in San Diego, and I love mountains and hiking. I started this website because I wanted to share the thoughts and emotions I have every Saturday morning when I climb the mountains around San Diego and Los Angeles.

Our lives have ups and downs just like the ups and downs of mountains. We sweat when we climb a steep slope, so a nice and refreshing cocktail can rid us of our fatigue and give us the energy we need to climb an even bigger mountain. As I smell the scent of apple mint today, I, the Cocktail Hiker, shall climb the big mountain known as “my dream.”
